The boys and girls from the different orphanages and shelters in Puerto Vallarta were invited to La Bodeguita del Medio Cuban Restaurant for a fiesta of food, fun, making new friends and being reunited with their friends from other shelters.

The 120 children were invited by DIF, System for the Full Development of the Family (Desarrollo Integral de la Familia), the government agency for the under-privileged adults and children in the area.

The children enjoyed a day away from the shelters, all the great food and the view at La Bodeguita in downtown Vallarta on the Malecon, where they spent an unforgettable day.

Arriving right on time were the children from Vida Nueva, Casa Hogar Máximo Cornejo, Refugio Infantil Santa Esperanza, Casa Infantil Mojoneras and Asociación Civil Corazón de Niña.

Eduardo Sánchez, the Manager of the restaurant, welcomed DIF President, Magaly Ortiz Fregoso, and the Director of Eagle's Wings, Sara Cardona, as well as representatives of the shelters.

The emotion of living in a large family with all the children coming together generated an unbeatable atmosphere where children shared foods, played and enjoyed the big party.

Managers of the DIF system and the Director of Eagles Wings congratulated the representatives of La Bodeguita for hosting the 120 children and creating a day to remember.
