The local delegation of Red Cross in Puerto Vallarta launched their fundraising campaign which began on October 31 and continues until November 15.

Their campaign slogan is "With Help, Wonderful Things Happen."

The funds collected will be allocated to the purchase of ambulance and hospital equipment.

According to Jose Luis Ortiz Cartos, Recruitment Coordinator, they are looking to exceed their goal from last year when they raised the impressive sum of 138,000 pesos.

This year, they seek to raise sufficient funds to acquire the needed equipment required in ambulances, such as  defibrillators, infusion pumps, and other equipment that is required to offer intensive care services in ambulances.

As in previous years, secondary and preparatory schools in Puerto Vallarta are participating, along with Conalep, Prepa Jacoba, Cecytej, CBTIS, Secondary Schools 182, and the Secretary of National Defense.

Working daily to save lives, Red Cross of Puerto Vallarta depends on the support provided by their donors to continue their worthwhile efforts.
