In less than a decade, the Vallarta Botanical Gardens, located only 30 minutes south of Puerto Vallarta, has truly become one of our city's most popular attractions.
As 2013 approaches, the staff and volunteers are readying a variety of important events to take place in the upcoming months, which include Diversity Day (Jan. 26), their annual Flower & Garden Show (Feb. 22 - Mar. 3), the Vallarta Bird Festival (Mar. 7-10), and the first-ever Bougainvillea Festival (May 17 - 25).
We took a quick detour to the Vallarta Botanical Gardens this past weekend, where Founder/Curator Bob Price shared with us how he started this important Puerto Vallarta landmark, along with some of the many activities that visitors can enjoy there.
We invite you to add your charity or supporting organizations' news stories and coming events to PVAngels so we can share them with the world. Do it now!
