Donald Trump said Tuesday that if elected president he will erect a wall along the country’s southern border and said that taxpayers won’t have to pay a dime for it.

Mr. Trump has long touted what he sees as his unmatched skills when it comes to building walls and doing so at the best bang for the buck.

And the 69-year-old added another wrinkle, saying Mexico will pick up the tab.

“I will build a great, great wall on our southern border and I will have Mexico pay for that wall,” Mr. Trump said.

He did not provide any details on how he would get Mexico to go along with his plan.
