Pastors for Peace 25th Anniversary (PastorsForPeace)
The 24th U.S.-Cuba Friendship Caravan Pastors for Peace arrived in Mexico to set off to the Caribbean island tomorrow.
"We travel all over the United States and Canada, from the city of Seattle to New York, California to southern United States, and we go to Cuba loaded, first with a lot of love for our Cuban brothers and sisters," Manolo de los Santos, coordinating team member of the Caravan, told Prensa Latina at a telephone interview.
We also take medicines, specifically prohibited by the U.S. government with its inhuman blockade against that people, and tools to help the reconstruction of Santiago de Cuba province, at eastern Cuba, severely affected by Hurricane Sandy last year, he added.
The Caravan carries messages from the U.S. people against the blockade imposed by the government of his country to that nation, but also voices that are raised for the release of the Cuban Five, as the Cuban antiterrorist fighters unjustly held in the United States since 1998 are known, Santos said.
