Be sure to mark your calendars now for February 2nd and plan to attend the biggest and best charitable event of the season, the Celebración Para los Niños (Celebration for the Children), to benefit the children living at the Refugio Infantil Santa Esperanza (RISE) and Sendero de Esperanza y Amor (SEA).
Sendero de Esperanza y Amor (The Path to Hope and Love) is a new non-profit approved AC that will be opening later this month or in February as a new optional home for some of the older children from RISE. It will provide an opportunity for the children over 14 to learn skills and prepare for their entry into adulthood in becoming a productive addition to the community.
The event will be held in a new location this year at the stunningly beautiful Gran Salon of Secrets Vallarta/Now Amber from 5:00 to 9:00 pm.
Plenty of delicious food will be available from many of Vallarta's finest restaurants, terrific live entertainment, live and silent auctions, and LOADS of fun will be in store for everyone.
Plan to get your tickets early, as there will be a limited capacity of 480 lucky guests.
Tickets are available for a donation of 700 pesos per person (around $60 US/CDN) at:
• Daiquiri Dick's (314 Olas Altas in Old Town Vallarta)
• Peyote People (222 Juarez, Downtown)
• Erika Lamas Permanent Make-up (Royal Pacific Yacht Club, Timon 1-A in the Marina)
• Palomas Doradas Restaurant & Bar (Club de Tenis Puesto del Sol, local 12, in the Marina)
