The Zellers' live concert comes just in time for Valentine’s Day, masterfully exploring the haunting questions - What is love? What are our expectations, our illusions? How are we affected by places, time and circumstances? How do we discover ourselves in the presence of the other? This is the Zellers' journey through "Love and Insanity."

Join them as they delve deep into these questions with each performance.

The Zellers, Mark and Dana, have been together for forty years as New York working acting artists, singers, teachers, directors and playwrights. And so in their music, they honestly explore conflicts in relationships such as… How are we affected by our inner drives, How do we balance our need for personal privacy and the need for companionship?

The Zellers have worked On and Off Broadway over the years and taught at New York University School of the Arts, Theater School, and produced their own theatre in Manhattan.

They are also producing their own original plays. So they are quite familiar with the nuances and conflicts that one must experience in a longterm relationship.

In their musical evening, the Zellers use the material of gifted Broadway and popular lyricists and composers to go deep into their relationship.

They have come to believe that marriage is a dramatic act in which two people come together to redefine themselves. Finding this to be true, they are grateful for the commitment they have made to each other as artists and human beings.

The musical director of Love and Insanity, Woodward Regan, composer and musical director, will also be flying in from New York to accompany them for these performances.

Performances are on February 8, 9, 10, 12, 13 & 14 at 8:00 pm at the Boutique Theatre, with the show wrapping on Valentine’s Day. Tickets are 250 pesos.

Tickets may be purchased from: Paradise Encounters, 134 Rodolfo Gomez, everyday from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm or at NV Bookstore at 216 Basilio Badillo 9:00 am to 500 pm Monday thru Friday. A Boutique Theatre booth will also be at the Paradise Community Center Farmer's Market, 221 Pulpito, PV, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm Saturdays. Tickets may also be purchased at the Boutique Theatre most days between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm depending on rehearsal schedules and always one hour prior to performances. When purchasing tickets online from PayPal an automatic email is sent to our ticket office and your tickets will be held there until the time of the performance. You can take your printed receipt to the box office as proof of purchase if you desire.

The Boutique Theatre is located at the corner of Basilio Badillo and Naranjo in Old Town Vallarta on the south side of town.
