The International Festival of Migratory Birds of San Blas, Nayarit, has created a bond of brotherhood between the communities and visitors where tourists are received with open arms.

This year, from Sunday, January 27 through Sunday, February 3, there will be routes for birdwatching, cultural events, workshops, conferences and activities.

San Blas is proud to share the area's environment and nature with all its biodiversity and the joy of experiencing a privileged space and a piece of paradise in the world.

For almost a decade, San Blas has continued to expose their abundance of the incredible migratory bird population of the area.

We show our visitors what mother earth has given us and wish to show what our community does, the local crafts made with great effort and dedication, the traditions and lives of our people.

This is why in the patronage of the International Festival of Migratory Birds of San Blas, we have designed several routes of bird watching, in landscapes as diverse as sea, mountains, wetlands, mangroves and estuaries, and lively estuary zones.

In these beautiful landscapes we see, through different routes, more than 400 species of birds that live and visit our town. We explain the ecosystems, the landscape and the flora and fauna that make up our space. We invite tourists to taste typical meals of our region, what we eat every day in our municipality and also share our experiences during the past.

This year, we have designed more than 12 different routes, all with something special that makes them unique.

We work with professional guides, who do their work with enthusiasm and dedication, who are with us on this project because they believe in it and are working together with the environment and communities.

During our previous tours, we have traveled over 75 routes of observation, in which we have shared with more than 1500 tourists the experience of living a sunrise in San Blas, listening to the singing of hundreds of birds, smelling the aroma of hundreds of plants and trees, breathing the fresh and pure air of San Blas, walking through the beautiful landscapes or touring by boat the crystalline waters of the sea, the mysterious waters of the marshes, observing crocodiles, birds, sky, clouds and more...

Today, we want to say that these ten years of work have been painstaking and labor-intensive, but we are convinced that they have earned the recognition deserved and today, we want to thank the people in the communities who have worked together with us, to all San Blas that always welcomes with enthusiasm and willingness to tourists, who have made it possible that this Festival exists.

We are grateful to all those that visit us, those enthusiastic tourists who come to know our San Blas, and treat our community with a respectful attitude and getting to know our home and our environmental conservation activities.

We want to grow our efforts and show the world what we are doing today in San Blas through festivals of this type, workshops, conferences and cultural activities.

We hope you choose to visit us and share the experience, the culture, the gastronomy, traditions and unique life here in San Blas, Nayarit.
