Punta Sayulita Is Pleased To Present Benito Alberto Leal Cueva, Environmentalist and invites you to attend a very special insightful evening. Benito is a conservationist, scuba diver, mountain biker and mountaineer.

Join us at the Punta Sayulita Beach House on Friday, April 5, from 6:00 until 8:00 pm. The suggested minimum donation is 200 pesos and will benefit the Punta Sayulita Foundation Environmental Education Programs.

Since 2001, Benito has been a member of Pronatura Noreste’s board and from 2007 to 2010 he was president of such board and member of Pronatura Mexico’s federal chapter. He also was a member of Club de Observadores de Aves del Noreste from 1986 to 2004.

He is co-founder and co-proprietor of Expediciones México Verde S.A. from 1989 to 2004, pioneer in numerous eco-tourism trips in the Lacandon Jungle in Chiapas.

Come and meet Benito and listen to him talk about the efforts and stories he has lived as an environmentalist and about what can be done in the Bahía de Banderas area to connect with Pronatura.

Pronatura is a non-profit Mexican organization created in 1981 by a group of entrepreneurs and scholars concerned for the conservation of those areas of the country's territory that constitute important natural ecosystems because of the flora and fauna resources in them.

Benito is a 1982 graduate of Business and Finance from the University of Wisconsin in Eau Claire and as a businessman he produces furniture with sustainable concepts and practices. He has taken numerous courses on organic agriculture in Veracruz and France and practices organic agriculture in the Sierra de Arteaga in the State of Nuevo León. He has summited peaks all over North America, México and Asia, lives high just below the M Mountain above Monterrey, where he rides his mountain bike every day. Passionate about cooking he is member and host of many cook clubs. Married and father of three, his family practices yoga, scuba diving and mountaineering together.
