The following letter was written by one of the Project Amigo students we support through our Community Service Grants of the Puerto Vallarta Rotary Club.

"I want to thank you for supporting me for this school cycle, for the scholarship that has helped me to continue progressing in my studies, and many thanks to my godparents for giving me the opportunity of being someone in life.

I felt I did well in the final exam for the end of my secondary degree and will enter the third degree after the holidays.

My plans for this following school cycle are to have better qualifications, to pay attention and no longer be distracted by time-wasting activities.

I want to thank you for the school equipment, the uniforms and the scholarship that I receive each Wednesday for food and transportation, and above all for your affection and support.

I am very happy to have this scholarship since it is a great support and I feel very proud that you have chosen me.

I hope you have liked my achievements in this year and my participation in the yearly festivals.

For the holidays, I am not going anywhere. I thought about seeking work to entertain me these 6 weeks that I am going to have free.

My experience in second degree education went very well, thanks to the love and the friendship you have given to me.

Thanks for always being the supporter of me. I hope that you have some excellent holidays. Here is a hug and a kiss from me."
