Punta Sayulita is pleased to be the venue for CVIS' annual Surf-A-Thon fundraiser for 2013.
Hosted by James Pribram, Sergio & Patricio, you are invited to attend the 5th Annual Surf-A-Thon to benefit the Costa Verde International School's Scholarship Fund.
Join us from 12:00 until 5:00 pm on Saturday, April 27, at the Main Break, Punta Sayulita, to surf and interact with local surfers and CVIS students.
No experience is required. All proceeds go to the CVIS Scholarship Fund - Send a kid to school!
An after party will be held at Punta Sayulita Beach House beginning at 5:00 pm (located next to Don Pedro's restaurant). Food, drinks and fun will be provided for 250 pesos. Raffle tickets can be purchased for 250 pesos each with great prizes including boards, vacations and surf items. Winners must be present to claim prizes.
To sponsor a surfer, please go to CVIS and pick your favorite. Upload your name and photo onto the site or send your name and picture to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will provide you with your own link, a sample letter and sponsor sheets. If you raise over 250 pesos, come to the after party for free.
Costa Verde International School in Sayulita, Mexico, is the only bilingual green school in the state of Nayarit. It was created to provide preschool through 9th graders an opportunity to become healthy, happy and well-adjusted lifelong learners. Our goal is for all students to acquire fluency in a second language and a profound understanding of the necessity for a "green" approach to living. To achieve this, CVIS is dedicated to a small student-to-teacher-ratio and has focused education on the whole child in an environment designed to develop the talents and skills particular to each individual.
We hope to see you on April 27 for this great cause.
We invite you to add your charity or supporting organizations' news stories and coming events to PVAngels so we can share them with the world. Do it now!
