'Life of Pi' Screening for Movie Night at Punta Sayulita Beach House

In conjunction with the Day of the Marina festivities, Punta Sayulita invites you to attend a free screening of the Academy Award winning film, Life of Pi.

The film is based on the best-selling fantasy adventure novel by Yann Martel, which has sold more than ten million copies worldwide.

The lead character, Pi Patel, is a boy whose father is the owner of the zoo in a city in India where they live.

His family decides to move the zoo to Canada, but a storm wrecks the ship on which they travel.

Pi survives for 227 days at sea in a lifeboat in which there is also another "passenger," a Bengal Tiger named Richard Parker.

The movie will be viewed on our giant screen at the Punta Sayulita Beach House on Saturday, June 1, at 8:30 pm. Entry is free.

The Punta Sayulita Beach House is located on the beach next to Don Pedro's in Sayulita.

Como parte de los festejos del Día de la Marina en Sayulita Punta Sayulita le invita a asistir a la proyección de la película ganadora del Premio de la Academia, La Vida de Pi. Basada en la exitosa novela aventura fantástica de Yann Martel, que ha vendido más de diez millones de copias en todo el mundo.

El personaje principal, Pi Patel, es un niño cuyo padre es el dueño del zoológico en la ciudad de la India.
