Colors on Canvas PV "Make Way for Summer Art Sale" will be held at the Sea Monkey Restaurant on Friday, June 14, and Saturday, June 15, featuring original acrylic and oil paintings by artists painting and living in Puerto Vallarta and participating in the Vallarta art scene.
Each artist will donate a percentage of sale proceeds to the Biblioteca Los Mangos, our Puerto Vallarta Public Library.
Colors on Canvas PV artists still have the creative juices flowing during the not so slow low season.
We have added a "works in progress" page to our website so that people can follow along on the development of a painting.
Painting together means instant feedback whenever we ask for it from fellow artists. Sometimes their comments result in a "duh, that is exactly what it needs," why didn't I think of that. Other times your face takes on that "for sure you've totally lost it if you think that's what it needs" look.
Visit our Works in Progress page often to follow the transition of a painting from blank canvas to completion.
