La Cruz Delegado (Angel) Alberto Garcia de Haro has asked Inside La Cruz to help spread the word about the Arroyo and Culvert Clean Up this Sunday June 9th starting at 8:00 am.
Volunteers who can work any amount of time are asked to pitch in.
Angel will meet the assembled volunteers at the soccer field in El Mangal (Los Mangos) colonia, at the end of calle Piña (which is the extension on the mountain side of the highway of calle Atun, running past the El Profe market).
You are encouraged to bring your own gloves and lawn bags to use or more for donating.
Angel will get the group started on the cement culvert that runs from the soccer field back to the highway, and then take a second group over to the Arroyo further southwest.
Both of these tributaries are in need of clearing out of trash, rubbish and construction waste prior to the rainy season when they will be major drainage sources running to the beaches and the bay.
This is another step in the right direction for our Delegado who has expressed the desire to make La Cruz de Huanacaxtle the cleanest pueblo in the Bahia de Banderas.
