'The Art & Science of Racing' Sayulita SUP Training Camp Announced
Need another good excuse for a quick get-a-way trip to Sayulita this fall?
Punta Sayulita is stoked to partner with fitness expert & personal trainer Shanti Tilling of Sweat Play Live for its intensive SUP Training Camp to get in shape and ready for next year's 5th Annual Punta Sayulita Classic.
The first training camp will be held in Sayulita from November 6 - 11 where campers will receive expert instruction from elite SUP paddler Jen Fuller as well as collaborative land based cross-training program under the personal direction of Shanti Tilling.
Then, after taking what you learned back home to incorporate into your training routine, return back to Sayulita from March 6 - 10 for the Punta Sayulita Classic Race Experience Weekend and compete against some of the top paddlers in the world.

Whether you are new to the sport of Stand Up Paddle or are already an avid racer, Jen has designed this camp to push your training to the next level!
Your Race Training Camp includes:
• Beautiful shared accommodations in 2 & 3 bedroom condos

• Clinics: paddling technique, endurance, down-wind runs & more
• SUP surf lesson
• Practice race

We will be staying at Parajo de Fuego, beautiful ocean view condos on the quiet end of Sayulita. Just a 45 minute drive north of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. A typical day begins with an SUP-specific land workout followed by a healthy breakfast. We then head out on the water for SUP technique clinics and endurance training. We will be served up lunch by local chefs or head to our favorite cafes for some awesome Mexican cooking.
This is your vacation, after all, so you will have plenty of time in the afternoons to relax on the beach or at the pool, read a book, and even treat yourself to a well-deserved massage. We will finish off our day with an afternoon paddle session or sports stretch class, and of course a wonderful dinner.
As a certified Egoscue Exercise Therapist, Jen offers a unique approach to SUP training and racing. Her "Train Smart" philosophy, a combination of understanding the mechanics of posture as well as her efficient training methodology, has allowed Jen to become one of the top-ranked female paddlers in the nation.
Rates are $2,695 per person/double occupancy ($400 single supplement).

Bridging these trips, Jen also offers winter training in Sausalito, CA, from January 4 to March 1. 8 weeks of training that incorporates Metabolic Efficiency training, paddle stroke evaluation and training, as well as how to "train smart" for the long term. This program is designed for anyone whether you are interested in racing or simply increasing your fitness level.
