Spanish Language Classes at Costa Verde in Sayulita Costa Verde Cultural Center

Costa Verde Cultural Center brings the world to Sayulita, Riviera Nayarit, by providing opportunities to understand other cultures through art, dance, music and language.

The Cultural Center offers various classes, holds events, houses a library, and is an outlet for information about the Sayulita community.

The Cultural Center offers a complete Adult Language School and also facilitates field trips throughout the area, connecting the community and visiting tourists with Mexico’s rich local heritage.

All language classes consist of grammar lessons and conversational phrases and techniques with part of the time spent in “break out” sessions; learning outside the classroom where students interact with the local culture directly.

Opportunities for participants include

• Cooking classes

• Participation in a traditional Christmas in Mexico

• Learning about Huichol culture and art

• Going on nature walks to observe jungle wildlife

• Exploring the hidden sites of Nayarit

Other classes currently scheduled are; English as a second language, art, African dance, children’s dance, photography, yoga, martial arts, Capoeira, and horticulture.

The Costa Verde Cultural Center is a part of the Costa Verde International School program and a percentage of the proceeds from this center go towards supporting local children in a quality, bilingual, multicultural and progressive education and towards making a contribution to the community and the environment in Sayulita.
