Night of the Iguana Anniversary
From November 25 to 29, Puerto Vallarta remembers the fifty years since the filming of "The Night of the Iguana." This tribute celebration will endorse the value and exhibit the great difference this movie and surrounding events have made in the major focus of collective identification for Vallarta.
In this 50th anniversary, there will be a series of conferences, lectures, film screenings, exhibitions of pictures, audio and videos related to the filming of the movie "The Night of the Iguana."
Locations to join in the celebration will be the Centro Universitario de la Costa in Ixtapa, Los Arcos on the Malecón, the Cuale Cultural Center on the "island" separating Downtown and Old Town Vallarta, and the Puerto Vallarta Public Library (Biblioteca Los Mangos).

Hardwood Tournament of Hope
Basketball organizer Plan BC3, LLC and The National Urea Cycle Disorders are excited to announce the field for the 2013 Hardwood Tournament of Hope in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. This great classic will consist of five leading women’s teams competing at the state of the art Puerto Vallarta International Convention Center. This will be the second year of this annual event.
The field will consist of the following leading institutions women’s basketball programs: Florida Gulf Coast University, Purdue University, South Dakota State University, Stanford University and Texas Christian University.
Games will be played in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, on November 26th, 27th, 28th and 29th.

Charity Bingo at Nacho Daddy
We are delighted to announce that Nacho Daddy will be hosting the next installment of the ever-popular Charity Bingo Night in aid of two local charities: Pasitos de Luz Special Needs Children's Day Care and Colina FREE Spay & Neuter Clinic.
The biggest and best bingo night in town will be running once a fortnight (that’s every other week!) and promises thrills and spills. Get your lucky bingo pants ready for Wednesday, November 27.
Bingo kicks off at 6:30 pm! Game cards go on sale at 6:00 pm.

Spayghetti & No Balls Dinner Fundraiser
Come and join us for our "Spay"ghetti and "No Balls" Dinner Fundraiser on Friday, November 29, 5:30 until 9:00 pm, at the Ladybug Restaurant in Bucerias.
Our goal is to raise funds for Paraíso Felino AC Cat Shelter with regards to spay and neuter procedures, vaccinations, medicine, and other needed items.
We'll be serving spaghetti pasta with a variety of gourmet sauces including garlic toast, soft drinks and water.

Colors on Canvas & Folkloric Ballet Benefits for PV Library
You can help and support the library doubly on Friday, November 29. First come to the Colors on Canvas exhibition at the Library beginning at 6:00 to see and purchase affordable pieces of original art. Then head over to Teatro Vallarta for a one night only performance by the University of Guadalajara Ballet Folklorico to benefit Biblioteca Los Mangos.
Spend a wonderful evening and share the caring and support for the most important cultural institution in Vallarta, Biblioteca Los Mangos.
The Guadalajara University Folkloric Ballet will take the stage of Teatro Vallarta on November 29 at 8:00 pm as a benefit performance for our Puerto Vallarta Public Library.
