On Thursday, January 30th, the 14th edition of the Annual Los Mangos Library Art Auction will take place. This year, the Auction will be a tribute to Peter Gray.
It is an emblematic event for this Cultural Center and a unique occasion where renowned artists, art fans, young creators, business organizations from different industries and friends of the Library find themselves united for a single cause: contribute a grain of sand to make it possible for Los Mangos Library to continue its service of promotion and encouragement towards culture and art, which has been its sole purpose for 17 years.
The evening starts to vibrate since early hours with the small army of volunteers who enlist to receive and guide the attendees; the cocktail for donors, artists and sponsors starts at 5:00 pm.
At exactly 6:00 pm, the doors will open to the public with registration where access is given to the fixed-prices room in which you can find paintings, sculptures, photographs, prints, decorative articles, accessories, and gift certificates at attractive prices.
At 7:00 pm, the auction starts on the main stage where art pieces and objects are presented, exhibited and sold to the best bidder.
During the evening you can also help by trying out delicious snacks of some of the best restaurants in the city, accompanied with a great wine or a refreshing cocktail and live music.
For added convenience, payment for art-work, articles or gift certificates may be made with credit card or cash. There will also be raffles and much more.
The entrance is free. Join us and bring your family and friends.
