'Right Plant, Right Place' at Vallarta Garden Club Suzanne Kirkpatrick - Vallarta Garden Club

The Vallarta Garden Club is pleased to have Bruce Beckler, an experienced “Ornamental Horticulturist” from Vancouver, B.C. as a presenter at our meeting on Thursday.

Bruce has worked with two major botanical gardens and has spent twenty years with the Vancouver Parks system. If you’ve been to Vancouver, you likely know how beautiful the City gardens are. Thank you, Bruce.

Our subject is "The Right Plant, the Right Place." Bruce will be helping us determine how and why some plants seem to thrive while others don’t. It should be a lively discussion with opportunity for you to ask your question!

The meeting is on March 20 at 11:00 am at the Paradise Community Center in Old Town Vallarta, 127 Pulpito.

You’ll also get an update on the Bugambilia Festival which is just around the corner, May 9-11.

Pick up your tickets for the special events at the meeting: the Opening Event Cocktail Party Friday night, the afternoon Tea on Saturday, and the special Mother’s Day Brunch and fashion show on Sunday. Individual tickets are 350 pesos or get all three for 895 – a discount of 155 pesos. Don’t miss out!

Come a bit early to pick up your tickets, a tee-shirt, or just socialize!

Then after the meeting, many of us are going to head across the street for lunch at Coco’s Kitchen. Please join us. Many of you likely will be heading home soon, and we want to take as much opportunity as we can to socialize and get to know each other better.
