Now in its eighth season, the Puerto Vallarta Chamber Orchestra has recently announced dates and venues for their Spring Concerts.
On Sunday, March 25, at 8:00 pm, they will perform at the American School/Colegio Americano in Marina Vallarta.
The second concert will be hosted at the Paradise Community Center on Monday, March 26, at 8:00 pm. The PCC is located at 127 Pulpito in the Romantic Zone in Old Town.
Under the direction of conductors Don Bieghler and Miguel Almaguer (director of Puerto Vallarta's Music School Orchestra), they invite you, your family and friends to join them for an evening of music under the stars.
The community ensemble will perform Beethoven's First Symphony in C major with soloists Rigoberto Mora (guitar), Josvany Gamboa (trumpet) and Kathy Overly (oboe) being featured in Aaron Copland's "Quiet City". Also being performed will be the Coriolanus Overture and Rodrigo's Concierto de Aranjuez, among others.
Doors to these outdoor concerts will open at 7:00 pm with a suggested donation of 100 pesos. Children and students will receive free admission. Tickets can be purchased at the American School or Paradise Community Center.
