Celebrate the wonders of our environment at the Vallarta Botanical Gardens during a special morning of guided bird and plant observation.
Join us on Thursday, June 5, from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm for our Bird and Epiphyte Discovery Hike.
While our eyes are directed upwards in search of birds, we’ll also point out some of our favorite epiphytes–plants (including orchids and bromeliads) that mostly grow and blossom high up in the forest canopy.
Local bird guides and volunteers will be here to guide participants and help with field identification.
Bring your own binoculars if you have them. We also have a limited supply to loan out on a first come, first served basis.
For a list of birds that you are likely to find at the Gardens, download the printable file.
The Gardens will have an “early bird” opening for this event at 8:00 am. Guided hikes are offered this day from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Vallarta Botanical Gardens is located 30 minutes south of Old Town, Puerto Vallarta, on Carretera a Barra Navidad at km 24, just past Las Juntas and Los Veranos. The Gardens is open from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm and closed on Mondays between April and December. For more information, email firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone (322) 223-6182.
We invite you to add your charity or supporting organizations' news stories and coming events to PVAngels so we can share them with the world. Do it now!
