On Thursday, I went to school to teach English at Luis Pasteur kinder school as I always do and the mothers and teacher invited me back at 3:00 pm, and added that I should "bring my friends."
I have a miserable case of bronchitis, so I put an invitation on the net and went to bed. Jerry and I went to the school, with Sheri Billingsley (representing Laurie Higginson) and were greeted with what looked more like a neighbourhood block party! All ages, generations, over 100 people attended.
There was a skit, dancing, great food for everyone, flowers, hugs, a beautiful letter of gratitude, and it will remain one of the most memorable days of my life.
