Puerto Vallarta was named as La Ciudad Mas Amigable en el Mundo (The Friendliest City in the World) by Condé Nast magazine.
Condé Nast quotes, "Friendliest of all, however, is Puerto Vallarta (92.5 out of 100 points). The Mexican resort city marked its debut on the list in 2001, in part because of the remarkable amiability of the local folk."
To show that Puerto Vallarta still retains the Friendliest City title, PromovisionPV.com and the Puerto Vallarta Chamber of Commerce (CANACO Puerto Vallarta) launched a video demonstrating the warmth of the Puerto Vallarta residents to its visitors.
The filming took place on April 11, 2012, on Vallarta's new Malecon and proved that we are still numero uno.
