Following is just an overview of all the events and festivities happening this week in Vallarta-Nayarit.

Los Bambinos at Roxy Rock House - Tuesday 

Old Town Vallarta's long-time favorites, Los Bambinos are out of the studio with a NEW ORIGINAL ALBUM Mundo Ideal that brings you the group's fresh new sound in a tasteful Fusion of Latin Rock songs.

Los Bambinos continue at the Roxy Rock House every Tuesday at 8:00 pm, in an all-new two-hour show with featured group the Beach Boys, and their Surfin' Safari ablum along with a complete selection of Los Bambinos original songs.

LuminiaFest Fireworks & Concerts - Tuesday and Wednesday 

Puerto Vallarta is the host of the 2014 Fireworks Festival including celebrity concerts and performances.

The majority of the events this year will take place at the Municipal Sports Stadium Agustin Flores Contreras (across from the Sheraton).

New Years Eve Celebrations - Wednesday 

With the New Year right around the corner, it's time to start thinking of where to celebrate New Year's Eve this year. We've put together some choices around Banderas Bay.

NYE PVR at Oscars - Wednesday 

Welcome the new year in paradise with Will Gorges as he presents NYE PVR 2015, co-hosted by Stphanie Gorges and Juan Aviña.

Daily activities began on December 27th from noon until Sunset at Mantamar Beach Club.

On New Year's Eve, the party will move to Oscar's Bar and Grill at the beach and Rio Cuale Island with DJ Manny Lehman and special performance by Elastika from Guadalajara. We plan to party from 10:00 pm until around 5:00 am.

Bloody Marys & Good Luck Food at Vallarta Yacht Club - Thursday 

If you had a little too much fun on New Year's Eve, stop by the Marina Yacht Club in Nuevo Vallarta on New Year's Day from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm where they'll be serving up Bloody Mary's, Cabbage and Onions, Rice and Beans to bring good luck for the coming New Year.

Simply Barbra at The Palm - Thursday and Friday 

Steven Brinberg is an acclaimed vocalist and impressionist who is best known for being the premier impersonator of music legend Barbra Streisand. He literally appears to transform into her, both physically and vocally, in an extraordinary musical experience. So much more than a garden-variety drag performer, his professional performances on stage include Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, The Kennedy Center, and on Broadway in a benefit production of Funny Girl, featuring Whoopi Goldberg. Steven also enjoyed a very successful run at The Palm Cabaret and Bar last season, where he was met with rave reviews.

Steven is thrilled to return to Puerto Vallarta and The Palm with the talented Chris Denny, who will accompany him at the piano. Performances of Simply Barbra will be in the evenings beginning December 18th through January 7th, 2015. All shows begin at 7:00 pm except for the January 7 show at 9:30 pm.

Musical Comedy Murder at ACT II - Friday and Saturday 

Ringing in the New Year, the Musical Comedy Murders of 1940 will hit the Main Stage of ACT II Entertainment in Puerto Vallarta on January 2, 2015.

An hilarious whodunit...set in the mansion library of Elsa von Grossenkneuten in Chappaqua NY in 1940. She has invited the crew of a musical that had a series of murders associated with it to her home to consider a new show which she will produce. This is actually a ruse to reopen the cold case of the Stage Door Slasher. To tell you any more would spoil the fun.

MCM will be performed on Wednesdays through Saturdays, January 2 - 17, 2015 at 8:00 pm.

Waterside Art Show Nuevo Vallarta - Saturday 

For the fourth consecutive year the Saturday Waterside Art Shows along the Marina Nuevo Vallarta boardwalk are being set up, ready to present local art all throughout the high season in order to reinforce cultural tourism in the Riviera Nayarit.

Every Saturday from 9:00 am to noon there will be a lineup of mostly local artists preparing painting and sculpture installations, thus creating a tourist attraction for the region.

Voice of Vallarta Competition - Sunday 

Act II Entertainment has spent the summer and after hundreds of auditions they have narrowed the field to 24 of the best.

The reality show competition season opener was on December 7 and will continue every Sunday at 8:00 pm until the big closing night on April 19, 2015 hosted once again by Juan Pablo Hernandez who turns SPANGLISH into an art form!

Farmers Markets in Vallarta-Nayarit - Every day of the week 

You'll see on our Events Calendar that there is at least one Farmers Market every day of the week in different locations around the Bay.
