Ocean Friendly Tours and Deep Blue Conservancy today announces that it has been recognized as a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence and Hall of Fame Winner. This Certificate of Excellence award celebrates excellence in guest services and the utmost dedication to providing the best possible customer service experiences. This award is only given to those that consistently achieve great traveler reviews on TripAdvisor.
The ‘Hall of Fame’ was created to honor those businesses that have earned a Certificate of Excellence for five consecutive years. Winners include attractions, eateries and accommodations around the globe that have continually delivered a superior customer experience.
Oscar Frey, President of Ocean Friendly Tours and Chief Researcher of the non-profit research group Deep Blue Conservancy says, “Being awarded the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence, as it relates to our whale watching tours and educational and conservation efforts, is indeed an honor. Now to be inducted into the ‘Hall of Fame’ is a true source of acknowledgment of our customer service, research, education and conservation efforts related to our work on the ocean and with the whales. We’d like to thank all of our guests who took the time to complete a review on TripAdvisor to make this happen year after year!”
Frey exclaims that, “There is no greater seal of approval than being recognized by one’s guests. With the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence, which is based on customer reviews, the accolade is a remarkable vote of confidence to our business and to our continued commitment to excellence that we will provide to our guests.
Our passion is what drives us to give the very best that we have to offer toward whale conservation and public education on the effects that humans have to their environments. We love what we do and for us that makes all the difference in the world. Without our guests we could not share all the beauty of our work and continue to contribute to the data that we are able to provide toward the conservation of the gentle giants of the ocean.”
Frey goes on to say that, “Winning the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence and being honored as part of their Hall of Fame for five consecutive years is a remarkable feat and a recognition of our love for what we do in whale education and conservation. Another great reward was being honored as the #1 Whale Watching Tour in the World by TripAdvisor.”
Marc Charron, President of TripAdvisor for Business, was quoted as saying, “TripAdvisor is pleased to induct five-time award winners into the ‘Hall of Fame’ and by putting a spotlight on businesses that are focused on consistently delivering great service to customers, TripAdvisor not only helps drive an improvement to hospitality standards around the world, it also gives businesses both large and small the ability to shine and stand out from the competition.”
“When selecting Certificate of Excellence winners, TripAdvisor uses a proprietary algorithm to determine the honorees, which takes into account the quality, quantity and recency of reviews and opinions submitted by travelers on TripAdvisor over a 12-month period as well as the business’s tenure and ranking on the Popularity Index on the site. To qualify, a business must maintain an overall TripAdvisor bubble rating of at least four out of five, have a minimum number of reviews and must have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months.”
The Ocean Friendly and Deep Blue Conservancy family sends thanks to all of you that support us in what we do. We highly appreciate you allowing us to be able to share the love of our journey above, below and while floating on Mother Ocean. It would never be the same without your commitment to our work.
