Puerto Vallarta has hosted various conferences for the Medical-Hospital Industry during this year. It has the necessary infrastructure to hold any type of event of this nature, and also the amenities a modern city offers, making it an excellent reason to choose this destination, with the added advantage of being surrounded by mountains and beautiful beaches.
Puerto Vallarta presently has internationally certified medical institutions, providing a quality of service comparable to world-class hospitals.

It serves as medical tourism spokesperson with the federal government, to establish joint work as an association, and make the most efficient use of the public policy put into place by the Departments of Economy and of Health.
