The Municipal System for Integral Family Development (DIF), in coordination with the Civil Association for the Visually Impaired and the Alas de Águila Foundation, recognized the completion of computer and Braille classes by students with visual impairments.
The President of DIF, Jennifer Serur, congratulated the achievements and invited them to continue with the same courage to help enrich and change lives of others.
On behalf of the students of the first year of operations of the computer and Braille classes, Socorro Ortega, one of the beneficiaries of these classes, voiced her appreciation of the support given by the DIF.
Rebecca Rodriguez, one of the main supporters of the Bay Visually Handicapped, was pleased by the joint work between the charitable organization, the DIF and the city of Puerto Vallarta.
Attending the moving ceremony were the Assistant Director of DIF Operations, Wendy Rodriguez Liliana Segura, the Coordinator of Comprehensive Care for People with Disabilities, Miguel Lopez Arce, the Technical Secretariat of the Council for Persons with Disabilities, Rebeca Jiménez and Dr. Miguel Alvarez.
