Jennifer Serur, President of the Municipal DIF, awarded the children of the "Nueva Vida" shelter with a fun visit to the Puerto Vallarta Zoo.
As a small recognition of "Nueva Vida" for their excellent academic performance during the school year that just concluded, the children were taken on a guided tour of the Vallarta Municipal Zoo by the System for Integral Family Development (DIF), chaired by Jennifer Serur.
The First Lady congratulated the kids for their school performance and encouraged them to continue learning every day.
Excited, they arrived at the zoo where they learned about the animals. The children were surprised by the close contact they had with "animals that I've seen on television," said the young student, Juanito.
After the visit, they enjoyed a delicious breakfast filled with jokes and laughter.
During the tour, the kids were accompanied by the Director of DIF, Paula Celina Lomeli, the Assistant Director Operations of the institution, Wendy Rodriguez Liliana Segura and staff who are responsible for daily care and instruction of children.
