There is a new resort coming to Costa Alegre just 140 kilometers south of Puerto Vallarta. LVMH, a company with 29 billion euros in revenues is a world leader in luxury brand goods and services with a portfolio of over 60 prestigious brands like Luis Vuitton, Dior, Givenchy, Fendi, Bulgari, Marc Jacobs, Guerlain, Krug Dom Perignon, Moet & Chandon, Hennessy, Chaumet and Zenith. Currently Cheval Blanc hotels are found in the Courchevel French Alps, Cheval Blanc Randheli at Maldives and the Cheval Blanc Saint Barth Isle de France. Slated to be built are Cheval Blanc hotels in Mexico, Paris, Bodrum-Turkey, Egypt, Bali and other locations.
The Zafiro Master Plan on 910 hectares of land will include an 18 hole Robert von Hagge Golf Course, 52 Villa Maison Cheval Blanc Hotel (68 rooms), 18 Cheval Blanc Branded Villas and up to 525 real estate units. All real estate units are either oceanfront or ocean view. The resort is slated to be finished by 2019 and now could be a great time to look at pre-construction purchases.
This gorgeous stretch of Jalisco’s coastline offers ecological turtle reserve areas and wildlife regulations keeping this beautiful part of Mexico protected. With the addition of the new airport facility that should open in 2016 just 15 miles from Zafiro Resort, look for this region to grow more and more popular with luxury brand consumers and lover’s of mother nature.
