Dolphins Give Smiles to Children with Cancer Dennis Rike - American Legion Post 14 | |
June 21, 2016 |
The children and volunteers from Vallarta Adventures.
Vallarta Adventures and the American Legion teamed up to provide a day of happiness for children with cancer in the Puerto Vallarta area.
These children must travel 5 hours on a bus from PV to Guadalajara for treatment. After the chemotherapy they are exhausted and then board a bus for the return trip.
This event offered an opportunity to forget the hardship they live with and they had smiles on their face's all day.
The Children's Cancer Screening Center in PV is open 5 days a week with a monthly meeting with all the children and mothers. There are currently 21 in the program.
