Rincon de Guayabitos is located on the Riviera Nayarit South of La Penita, and just North of Los Ayala in beautiful Mexico.

Guayabitos is a fun small town with lots of shopping and restaurants, bars and clubs. But, the beaches in Guayabitos and Los Ayala in the Jaltemba Bay are hard to beat as it is perfect for swimming, boating, lounging and relaxing on the lovely playa for your Mexico vacation.

The Jaltemba Bay actually consists of several beaches, form Playa Naranjo to Playa del Toro.

Guayabitos is a busy town all year around, as the summer months bring in the Mexicans, and the winter months bring in Canadians and folks from the United States.

The Mexicans really know how to have a good time on the beach! They bring down their families and friends and have a great time! There are tour boats, huge party barge style boats, jet ski rentals, banana boat rides, vendors selling food and clothes, jewelry and whatever else they can wheel in their carts. Luckily for these vendors, the beach in Guayabitos and Los Ayala is packed down pretty good making them easier to wheel than, lets say, the beaches in Lo de Marcos!

If you really want to immerse yourself in the culture of Mexico, come to Guayabitos for your Mexico vacation during the summer months!

Summer time in Mexico is for family fun and vacation. Its really great to see everyone out having a good time, cooling off down by the ocean. It was a prefect day for the beach in Los Ayala. Lots of folks were out having fun in the sun and the kids and adults alike playing in the water and the sand.

A very short walk over a path from the North end of the Los Ayala Beach you will find Besos Beach. That is the Spanish word for kissing! Its a cute little cove with one restaurant at the end, and it does not get too crowded as it is about a 10 minute walk to get there. The water was very clear there when I went swimming a couple of days ago, as I could see all the way to the bottom. Besos beach is also known as Playa Friderita.

Rincon de Guayabitos is a great place for all ages for a fun Riviera Nayarit vacation. If you are looking for a nice and affordable place to stay you may want to try Hotel de Don Pepe. A nice and clean hotel with a big pool and great rates. If you are hungry, try this restaurant called Los Tulipanes. They serve breakfast lunch and dinner. Its a nice place to go with comfortable seating. They have good food with fair pricing. If you are looking for something more upscale, try Vista Guayabitos Restaurant. They have the best view up on the hill, making it very romantic!
