What did you actually do? Took care of supplies and Logistics.
Beachmasters Unit Two - Little Creek, VA (1/68 - 8/69) - responsible for combatant supplies and amphibious vehicle parts.
Counter Insurgency School, Little Creek, VA (9/69 - 12/69)- Training for Vietnam duty.
Naval Support Unit, Tan My, Vietnam (1/70 - 4/70) - responsible for base & commissary supplies as well as the camp's lounges.
Naval Support Unit, Saigon, Vietnam (4/70 - 1/71) - advisor to the Vietnamese Naval Supply Center - all aspects of supporting the Vietnamese Navy.
Favorite "war story": I was young, I was stupid, Thank God I survived.
Occupation in past life:
Retired from being Operational Auditor/AML Compliance Officer for CFSC - a check cashing company (200 stores in 8 states). Audited store operations in 6 states, was AML (Anti Money Laundering) Compliance Trainer, and involved with both AML outside reviews and IRS.

b. What positions have you held in the Legion? None until PV where I am Finance Officer/Treasurer
Hobbies or interests: Just enjoying life with my Wife; Dabbling in Acrylic Painting, Sports (Black Hawks & Bears), and Table Games (MX Train Dominos) - AND - friends and family.
Any words of wisdom for fellow Legionnaires… Not enough time and space to write a novel - so in light of that a TOAST - "GOD BLESS YOU WITH GOOD HEALTH & MUCH HAPPINESS"
Children - Daughter (23) - Jenessa (living in Denver, CO) and Son (31) - Jason (living in Bolingbrook, IL)...Jason and wife Christine are expecting their first child in February. ALSO three Step Grand Children
