Following is just an overview of all the events and festivities happening this week in Vallarta-Nayarit.
Gypsy Rumba at The Palm Bucerias - Monday
Gypsy Rumba was born from the need to bring a musical career to the next level and fulfill their goals as musicians with a new feeling, new songs and five expert musicians. The band is carefully formed to bring a unique and delicate project who mix rhythms, Latin, Flamenco, Gypsy and World Music. The band has a fresh and energetic sound that is going to spread to the masses from the first song.
You are invited to enjoy the Gypsy Rumba performances in air conditioned comfort at the new Palm Cabaret and Bar Bucerias on November 14, 21; December 5, 19; January 2, 16, 30; February 13, 27; and March 13, 27. All shows begin at 8:30 pm.
International Gourmet Festival - Monday through Sunday
The best way to start this festival is undoubtedly the Grand Gourmet Village, a cheerful fiesta on November 11 where you can hang out with the stars of culinary art and delight yourself with the creations they will prepare on different “gourmet kiosks,” a little taste of what awaits you the next days.
On Sunday November 20th, the Festival finale will deliver a great seafood feast to relive the best moments during the ten days, nothing better than a medley of seafood created by the best chefs
Ceviche & Aguachile Market at the Pier - Tuesday
Every Tuesday there is a Ceviche and Aguachile Market taking place on Francisca Rodriguez, the walk-street leading to the Los Muertos Pier in Old Town Puerto Vallarta.
Come and enjoy a variety of ceviche and aguachiles prepared by neighbors, merchants and restaurateurs of the region in this culinary and cultural weekly event.
Enjoy an amazing variety of culinary delights such as coconut shrimp ceviche and return each Tuesday throughout the season between 12:00 and 4:00 pm to sample all the delicious selections while being entertained by live music.
Charity Bingo at Nacho Daddy - Wednesday
We are back with Bingo at Nacho Daddy's and they have made fantastic changes to their venue with more room and comfort!!
We hope to see you every other Wednesday starting Wednesday, November 16!
Cards go on sale at 3:00 and the Bingo games start at 4:00.

Downtown Vallarta Art Walk - Wednesday
Puerto Vallarta has established itself as a vibrant center of art creation, exhibition and promotion. An important contribution to the city´s art scene is Puerto Vallarta´s ArtWalk which this year will be held every Wednesday, 6:00 - 10:00 pm through May 25, 2016.
The participating galleries in Centro Historico offer works by important national and international artists. Remarkable paintings, exceptional sculptures, fine ceramics, blown glass and other types of noteworthly art are offered.
International Billfish Tournament - Wednesday through Saturday
The 61st edition of Puerto Vallarta's Billfish Tournament will be held November 16-19, 2016 and will again return to its original roots at the Rosita Hotel in Downtown Vallarta.
Registration will be held from 5:00 until 10:00 pm on Wednesday, November 16 at the Rosita Hotel.
The opening ceremony at the Rosita will begin the three-day tournament at 7:00 on November 17. The anglers can take off anytime after midnight on the following two days of fishing.
PV Garden Club Kickoff Event - Thursday
The Puerto Vallarta Garden Club invites you to join us on Thursday, November 17 from 5:00 until 7:00 pm at the Jazz Foundation.
This is our first event of the season and your membership renewal is extremely important. Our annual membership fee is 500 pesos per person and 750 pesos per couple, (approximately $26 and $40 USD).
The Jazz Foundation features a gorgeous view of the Bay and Malecon from the terrace and its spacious performance hall can seat up to 100 guests.
Art Exhibition at ChacalArt - Friday
The 2016 Fall ChacalArt Residency has kicked off!
We would love to see you at the Exhibition! Meet the artists, build your art collection & support the arts in Chacala.
Our Resident artists will display & sell their art on Friday, 18 November 2016 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the Meditation Hall of Mar de Jade Retreat Center, Chacala, Riviera Nayarit. Admission is 200 pesos.
All funds generated will go to the Chacala Cultural Foundation.
Dog Adoption Walks on the Malecon - Friday
Join the volunteers from Vallarta Adventures as they parade the pups and adult dogs that are available for adoption up and down the Malecon.
The fun and healthy walk begins every Friday at 7:00 pm and the two hour walk begins at Hotel Rosita at the north end of Vallarta's oceanfront Boardwalk.
These rescue dogs will be all ages, all sizes and various breeds and mixed breeds. They will all be sterilized and be wearing neon green "Adopt Me" jackets.
Half and 10K Marathon - Saturday
Approved by the AIMS (Association of International Marathons and Road Races), Riviera Nayarit is pleased to invite all runners and their families to participate in the “8th Half Marathon & 10K Touristic Riviera Nayarit 2016” which will be held on the main avenues of the tourist development of Nuevo Vallarta, Flamingos and El Tigre Golf Course located in Riviera Nayarit, Mexico.
The date this year will be Saturday, November 19 with the competitions beginning at 7:00 am.
With its flat terrain at sea level, the route is considered fast. Riviera Nayarit’s milder November temperatures and 7:00 am start time add to the appeal. Runners enjoy such pleasant distractions as lush golf courses, shaded avenues and stellar ocean views.
Sunday with a Cause Golf & Taste - Sunday
The Punta de Mita Foundation is collaborating with the Punta Mita development, the Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita and The St. Regis Punta Mita Resort to host its yearly Sunday With A Cause fundraiser event in pro of the local community. The date is set for November 20, 2016.
The Punta Mita Charity Golf Classic kicks things off at 9:00 am on the Bahía Golf Course. Each player receives a goody bag from the sponsors; the game format is a scramble with women’s, men’s and mixed categories. Player donation is US$200.
That afternoon at 6:00 pm it’s time for the Flavors of Punta Mita, which this year takes place in the Altamira Lobby at the St. Regis and has a US$70 donation fee. Gourmet food, artisanal beer and champagne will flow in a festive environment.
Firefighters & Lifeguards Spaghetti Fundraiser - Sunday
Ready for an afternoon of great food, friends and prizes all to support Puerto Vallarta's first-responders?
We hope you'll join us on Sunday, November 20, 2016 at the Puerto Vallarta Fire Department between 3:00 and 6:00 pm for some great spaghetti for a great cause.
