Puerto Vallarta will continue living their traditions to commemorate Sunday, November 20 as the start of the Mexican Revolution with the civic parade - sports in which 34 contingents of different levels of education, civil associations and government will be participating.
In this regard, the Deputy Director of Municipal Education, Norma Joya Carrillo, indicated that Mayor Arturo Dávalos Peña has held preliminary meetings with directors and teachers of primary, secondary level schools, senior middle and higher which will form part of this activity, tweaking the details that this parade was developed with order and be colorful and attractive for all attendees.
Also, a meeting was held with authorities of corporations as Municipal Police, Highways, Civil Protection, Firefighters, the Navy and the Army, who in addition will be participating and will be coordinating to establish security and prevention measures during the parade.
The Minister of Education announced that the parade will take place on Sunday, November 20 at 9:00 am with the start point by Morelos Street by the Main Square and continue along Paseo Diaz Ordaz to conclude near the calle Uruguay.
Recolution Day in Mexico is observed on Monday, November 21 and is a National Holiday with schools, banks, government offices and some businesses closing for the day.
