Christmas Tamale Cooking Festival - Monday
Following the rich Mexican tradition of making Tamales for Christmas we will have a hands on start to finish Tamale making workshop. A fun gathering to do what Mexican cooks have enjoyed for centuries to do – cook and chat, gossip, laugh while we make tamales.
Join us at ART VallARTa on Monday, December 19 from 3:00 until around 7:00 pm.
We will make traditional corn husk tamales with pork and vegetarian options. As well as sweet tamales, a Norteña Christmas traditions that reaches into Texas and Californa and Colombian style banana leaf tamales with chicken, egg and olives!!
Free Malecon Sculpture Walking Tour - Tuesday
Gary Thompson, owner of Galeria Pacifico, conducts a FREE Malecon Sculpture Walking Tour in downtown Puerto Vallarta every Tuesday morning from mid-November through mid-April.
The tour begins promptly at 9:30 am at the north end of the Malecon in front of the Millennium sculpture which is next to the Hotel Rosita.
The 2-hour tour usually commences with artist Mathis Lidice describing and discussing his inspiration for the massive landmark sculpture Millennium. After about 15 minutes the art walk continues on to the next sculpture with interesting discussion taking place in front of each bronze statue.
Garden Club Holiday Party at Vallarta Botanical Gardens - Tuesday
Bring your friends and join the Vallarta Garden Club for a wonderful holiday experience at the Botanical Garden on Tuesday, December 20 at 1:00 pm.
Bob Bruneau, friend to many in the PV community, will perform beloved holiday favorites.
PuRR Project Kitty Bingo - Wednesday
Come play Bingo with us on Wednesday, December 21!

Fire on the Mountain Concert - Wednesday
Earlier this year in March, CK Productions presented a concert on top of a mountain at the mystical and magical Terra Noble Spa in Puerto Vallarta.
CK Productions is proud to announce "Fire on the Mountain" at the same venue on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at 7:00 pm with "A Winter Solstice Evening of Fiery Latin Music" to kick off the Winter season.
Diego Mondragon and Eduardo Leon will team up as "The Dragon and the Lion" along with Vallarta's finest and most respected musicians and dancers to thrill the audience with their breathtaking talents under the moon and stars.
Downtown Vallarta Art Walk - Wednesday
Puerto Vallarta has established itself as a vibrant center of art creation, exhibition and promotion. An important contribution to the city´s art scene is Puerto Vallarta´s ArtWalk which this year will be held every Wednesday, 6:00 - 10:00 pm through May 25, 2016.
The participating galleries in Centro Historico offer works by important national and international artists. Remarkable paintings, exceptional sculptures, fine ceramics, blown glass and other types of noteworthly art are offered.
Margaritaville Party at El Rio - Thursday
Calling all Parrot Heads . . . Looking for an afternoon of fun in the sun?
Put your toes in the sand with a margarita in hand and enjoy Jimmy Buffett music, beach volleyball, a limbo contest, and live entertainment by the Joker Trio Band followed by Brian Neale’s Tribute to Jimmy Buffett starting at 4:00 pm.
Join us on Thursday, December 22 at El Rio BBQ in Paso Ancho. The party starts at 3:00 pm 'cause it’s 5 o’clock SOMEWHERE!
Turn Delight On at the Red Room - Friday and Sunday
Delighted Tobehere, New York's "Best In Drag" is gracing our stage with her vast humor and message of standing tall and being yourself no matter what people say. From the first musical line, one realizes that we have a major full-blown talent here. Her voice is full, rich, deep at times, but always exactly on target. "Live in your moment. Live your best life", she exclaimed straight from her immense heart. Her boisterous personality and voluminous humor are mixed with profound and thoughtful meanings. She is an intense star who relates woven stories of her life and how she strove forward against all adversity. What a way to start a 'Delightful' evening than with "Luck [Tuck] Be a Lady".

Good Morning Wake-Up Radio Show - Saturday
The Saturday morning Wake Up Show hosted by Michael Nolen broadcast from the University of Guadalajara at Puerto Vallarta, set your radio dial to 104.3 fm every Saturday morning from 9:00 until 10:00 am. You can also tune in online.
This show is all in English and is a non-profit show paid for by the University.
The broadcast includes information about everything going on at the PV University of Guadalajara and how you, the English-speaking community, can become involved.
Concert Under the Stars & Toy Drive - Saturday
World Renowned Jazz Pianist Janette Mason joins the Incomparable Kim Kuzma onstage at Casa Karma for a Christmas Eve Concert featuring original songs written by the 2 of them along with holiday classics and some not so traditional Christmas jazz!
Santa, with his helpers from the PV Men's Chorus, will also be collecting toys during intermission for Christmas at the Dump!
Have a fun filled Chritmas Eve and help make a child smile on Christmas Day.
The Christmas Eve Concert Under the Stars will begin at 8:00 pm on December 24 where you will be treated to amazing music, fabulous food, open bar and holiday fireworks.
Christmas at the Dump - Sunday
For the tenth year, our family will be brightening up Christmas for the poorest families of Puerto Vallarta.
What once started with a few has grown to over 4000 people waiting for what we have to give on Christmas Day.
We purchase over 700 cooked chickens, 2500 kilos of rice and beans, 750 bags of candy, 1000 toiletry bags, 1000 toys or more, clothes for men, women, girls and boys. The list goes on!
If you would like to get involved and share this wonderful experience of giving, we will meet in the Sam's Club parking lot at 10:00 am on Christmas Day, December 25, and drive to the park beside the dump where over 4000 people will be awaiting our arrival.
