Puerto Vallarta is a resort town on Mexico’s Pacific coast. It is known for its beaches, art and water sports, nightlife scene and music. Its cobblestone center is home to the ornate Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe church, great shops and a range of restaurants and bars. The Malecón is a beachside promenade with contemporary sculptures which we dive into, as well as bars and great food, lounges and nightclubs.
The Malecon boardwalk of Puerto Vallarta is the best way to see the city, then check out some of the old cobblestone streets of Old Vallarta and shop at one of the many flea markets. The amazing warm waters of the Bay of Banderas make for excellent diving, or you can just watch artists sculpt spectacular creations!
