Following is just an overview of all the events and festivities happening this week in Vallarta-Nayarit.

Swing Break Mexico - Monday through Sunday
A new event is headed to San Pancho, the Cultural Capital of the Riviera Nayarit: the Swing Break Mexico (SBM) is ready to get dozens of participants dancing from March 5-12, 2017.
All week long — morning, noon and night — there will be activities for people of all skill levels and all ages to come enjoy this novel — though retro — proposal.
Sex Please, We're Sixty Dinner Theater - Tuesday and Wednesday
Amigos de La Cruz are pround to present performances of 'Sex Please, We're Sixty' Dinner Theater Fundraisers from February 28 to March 8.
You can still catch the last two performances on March 7 and 8. The doors will open at 5:30 pm for Reserved and General with dinner service at 6:00 pm. Theater seating only begins at 6:30 and the play begins at 7:00. For those with Reserved Seating only, stay to meet the actors after the play.
Charity Bingo at Nacho Daddy - Wednesday
We are back with Bingo at Nacho Daddy's and they have made fantastic changes to their venue with more room and comfort!!
We hope to see you every other Wednesday!
Cards go on sale at 3:00 and the Bingo games start at 4:00.
And imagine winning a luxury yacht cruise, a free night in a boutique hotel with a panoramic view, massages, jewelry, live shows, free drinks, delicious food, tequila or wine with glasses, a free bingo package, or cold hard cash!
Proceeds benefit Pasitos de Luz for special needs children and Colina Spay and Neuter Clinic.
Spring Opera Benefit for the Library - Thursday
La Biblioteca Los Mangos is excited to stage a Spring Opera Evening Benefit under the generous sponsorship of the grand Sheraton Buganvilias on Thursday, March 9 at 7:30 pm with vocal solos, duets from renowned classical opera works and beloved Latin ballads, all complemented with a sprinkle of beautiful piano solos here and there in the program!
No Metropolitan Opera shows simulcast on the screen here, this is a real live treat like no other! This celebratory opera event proudly features three dedicated and talented Mexican musicians.
PV Chamber Orchestra Fundraiser - Thursday
The Puerto Vallarta Chamber Orchestra and IAMPV (Instituto de Artes Musicales Puerto Vallarta) are delighted to announce a fundraiser featuring the Grammy Award winning cellist, Don Moline of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
This is a rare and special opportunity to experience a world class musical performance in Puerto Vallarta, with the soloist Mr. Moline accompanied by the talented and popular pianist, Jean-Guy Comeau.
Concert is at the Piano Bar of the lovely venue Incanto. With a seating capacity of only 70, this event is sure to sell out so make sure you get your tickets early.
We hope you'll join us on March 9.
There will be an open bar with wine, beer, and hors d'oeuvres at 5:30 pm to 6:45 pm and again after Mr. Moline's performance, which will begin at 7:00 pm. Also, young members of the PVCO will perform previous to the main performance.
Chacala Music & Art Festival - Thursday through Sunday
The 4th annual Music & Arts Festival arrives on March 9-12, a free celebration of music, art and film for Chacala and the region.
As you know, it is free to the public thanks to the support of donors, concert goers and art lovers, as the Chacala Cultural Foundation supports education and performance throughout the year for the children and by the children.
South Side Shuffle - Friday
Take a stroll down Basilio Badillo every other Friday evening beginning on November 18 for art, jewelry, fashion, collectibles, restaurants, food, drinks, live music and fun.
Over seventeen Shops, Galleries & Restaurants open their doors for the return of the Friday evening Southside Shuffle in Old Town Vallarta.
This is one of Vallarta's more festive events and the party runs from 6:00 to 10:00 pm and features live music, cocktails and all kinds of great stuff.
Southside Shuffle dates are March 10 & 24; and April 7 & 21.
WesMex Small Boat Regatta - Friday through Sunday
The WesMex International Small Boat Regatta 2017, is scheduled again at Vallarta Yacht Club, on the 10th, 11th and 12th of March.
These sailors range in age from 8 - 65 years old on 6 different classes of boats.
Vallarta Yacht Club is honored once again to have the WesMex Regatta chosen by the FMV as one of five national regattas in the Mexican Sailing Circuit for the class associations of Optimist, Laser, Windsurfers, and 420s. Also, for the second year, we are pleased to welcome the competitors in the 2017 Mexican Laser Masters Championship.
Vallarta Celtic Music Fest - Saturday
It's a live music celebration on the Malecon, across from Murphy's and next to El Faro, 3:00 pm to 2:00 am.
Here's the musical line-up:
3:00 pm - Daniel Oliveros Trio (traditional Celtic instruments)
4:00 pm - Dave Whitty (traditional Irish and Newfoundland Pub Songs
5:00 pm - La Trez Cuartoz (Celtic rock band)
6:00 pm to 2:00 am - Celebration continues in Murphy's Pub
Celtic food specialties are available: Corned beef & Cabbage, Guinness Stew, Fish & Chips and more.
Drag Brunch at Act II - Sunday
Act II Entertainment presents New York City’s top comedy drag queen, Hedda Lettuce and friends, taking you to church every Sunday at Puerto Vallarta’s only drag brunch! These ladies will bring you high comedy, live singing, and light dancing while you split your seams with laughter and the best quality food from Frida’s kitchen! Top your brunch off with bottomless mimosas and bloody Mary’s at Puerto Vallarta’s newest unique experience only at Act II Stages!
Join us every Sunday through March with seating at 12:00 noon and the show beginning at 1:00 pm. Advance tickets and reservations are required.
Taste of Lo De Marcos - Sunday
Due to an untimely February storm the Taste of Lo De Marcos has been set for the new date of Sunday, March 12th.
The Taste of Lo De Marcos will be held Sunday, the 12th of March 2017 as a Fundraising Event from 3:00 until 8:00 pm at The Centro de Fiestas, which will be transformed for this Gala Event - The 4th Annual Taste of Lo De Marcos! The exact location is Luis Echeverria #9, Lo De Marcos.
