Last PuRR Project Adult Bingo of the Season - Monday
Get down and play Adult 70’s Bingo with us at The Palm Cabaret on Monday, March 27! Like can you dig it to the max? Come in 70’s garb and maybe you’ll win a prize!
We’ll also be giving away gift certificates to local restaurants, bottles of adult beverages, tickets to shows at The Palm and lots of other adult goodies…as well as cold hard cash in the 50/50 raffle. AND the incomparable Kim Kuzma will take us down Memory Lane with some hits from the era!
3:30 pm Bingo cards go on sale / 4:00 the fun starts.
Dvorak and The Balkans Concert - Monday
The Chamber Orchestra of Puerto Vallarta will be performing their last concert of the season with full orchestra setting of Dvorak & The Balkans.
The Salon Paraiso in Paradise Village, Nuevo Vallarta will be the venue for the March 27 concert in Riviera Nayarit at 8:00 pm.
Benefit for Tierra de Ninos - Tuesday
Save the date of Tuesday, March 28th for a day of Italian Food, Music, Raffles, Surprises and More.
We invite you to join in this opportunity to support Tierra de Ninos, a values based educational program offered in multiple locations in Bahia de Banderas.
Tierra de Ninos reaches out to the youth within the community to promote values, academia, and lifelong skills in the upcoming generation; the program is particularly offered to impoverished children who may otherwise not receive the opportunity for this educational enhancement,
This fundraising event is being held at La Postal, in Bucerias, on Tuesday, March 28 from 11:00 am - 10:00 pm.
Sail Away Fiesta La Cruz - Tuesday
Join Amigos de La Cruz for our final fundraising event of the season on Tuesday, March 28, 6:00 pm.
Our venue will be the beautiful La Peska Restaurante at the La Cruz Marina Yacht Club, Riviera Nayarit.
This is our only Dinner and LIVE AUCTION - great fun!
Firefighters Crossing Borders Fundraiser - Wednesday
On March 29th, FFCB is holding their first fund raising event in Bucerias, from 4:00 - 7:00 pm at the Pizzanteria Restaurant.
Come out and meet your Bomberos!
They will be presenting their own show, modeling in “The Many Looks of Service” to demonstrate the different uniforms and equipment they wear while providing different types of services: Emergency Operations such as Firefighting for Structures or Wildlands, Auto Extrication, Rope Rescue, Surf Rescue, Hazmat, Pre-Hospital Care, Heavy Search & Rescue, along with their Station & Dress uniforms.
They will have emergency vehicles and tools on display, and there will be a photo session with the Bomberos for the guests at the end of the show.
We'll have live music by Zoe Wood and The Traveling Band.
Spa for the Soul at Chebad - Wednesday
Here's a great opportunity to join in for an evening of relaxation, beauty and spirituality.
The Jewish Women's Circle of Puerto Vallarta brings together Jewish women of all ages and backgrounds to learn, laugh, experience and rejuvenate the mind, body and soul.
We'll be welcoming you on Wednesday, March 29 at 7:30 pm at Chabad Jewish Community Center of Puerto Vallarta.
El Arrayan Cooking Class - Thursday and Saturday
Meet at El Arrayan on Thursday and Saturday at 11:00 am. Receive printed recipes in English and embroidered apron. Receive hands on instruction in English. Have lunch of what we cooked. Includes one drink or one glass Mexican red or white wine.
We are usually finished around 2:45 pm.
Come Together by Act II Beatles - Friday
For the first time ever, COME TOGETHER! is a musical celebration of The Beatles!
This huge musical extravanganza brings together the best of the best…. the stars of Act II Stages!
You can catch COME TOGETHER at Act II Entertainment Stages every Monday and Friday at 7:00 pm until April 14, 2017.
Good Morning Wake-Up Radio Show - Saturday
The Saturday morning Wake Up Show hosted by Michael Nolen broadcast from the University of Guadalajara at Puerto Vallarta, set your radio dial to 104.3 fm every Saturday morning from 9:00 until 11:00 am. You can also tune in online.
This show is all in English and is a non-profit show paid for by the University.
The broadcast includes information about everything going on at the PV University of Guadalajara and how you, the English-speaking community, can become involved.
DST Begins Vallarta-Nayarit - Sunday
Even though our USA and Canada neighbors to the north will start observing Daylight Saving Time on Sunday, March 12 at 2:00 am, Mexico, except some exceptions including Mexico-USA border municipalities, will begin DST 3 weeks later on April 2 and ending a week earlier on October 29.
Clocks in areas that follow DST in the USA & Canada (including some areas in Mexico) will be returned to Standard Time on November 5, 2017.
Drag Brunch at Act II - Sunday
Act II Entertainment presents New York City’s top comedy drag queen, Hedda Lettuce and friends, taking you to church every Sunday at Puerto Vallarta’s only drag brunch! These ladies will bring you high comedy, live singing, and light dancing while you split your seams with laughter and the best quality food from Frida’s kitchen! Top your brunch off with bottomless mimosas and bloody Mary’s at Puerto Vallarta’s newest unique experience only at Act II Stages!
Join us every Sunday through March with seating at 12:00 noon and the show beginning at 1:00 pm. Advance tickets and reservations are required.
Salty Paw Jazz Orchestra Concert - Sunday
Puerto Vallarta's first and only youth-based jazz orchestra will perform at the Jazz Foundation the first Sunday of every month beginning on Sunday, March 5.
The Salty Paw Jazz Orchestra is coming of age fast! Established in September 2016, only 6 months ago, the band has already been invited to perform at the Jazz Foundation, Allende 116, just a few feet off the Malecon and across the street from La Bodeguita del Medio.
