Corazon De Niña Shelter for boys and girls has recently opened a thrift store in Marina Vallarta.
The Shelter currently provides permanent housing and education for 36 kids ranging from babies to 23-year-olds, in a loving ‘family’ environment.
The store is run by volunteers, everything has been donated and all monies go directly to the charity.
We have new and gently used furniture, clothing, jewelry, books, artwork, toys and all sorts of other household items including the odd dishwasher and small appliance!
We are located right beside Victor’s Place (Las Palmas Condos), trying to be open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm and the Thursday Night Marina Market!
What we need are more volunteers, more stuff to sell and with so many mouths to feed daily, please consider dropping off any non-perishable food and anything you brought down and now don’t have room for in your suitcase.
We even have a large ‘piggy bag’ for all our heavy, unused Pesos... feeding her with Canadian or American dollars helps to provide a safe home to rescued children from high risk situations including abuse, abandonment and human trafficking.
Drop by our store or visit Foundacion Corazon online for more information.
We invite you to add your charity or supporting organizations' news stories and coming events to PVAngels so we can share them with the world. Do it now!
From activities like hiking, swimming, bike riding and yoga, to restaurants offering healthy menus, Vallarta-Nayarit is the ideal place to continue - or start - your healthy lifestyle routine.
