Celebrating the Launch of Playa Fortuna Ocean Club in Punta Mita Punta Mita

The launch of Playa Fortuna Ocean Club, located in one of the most coveted oceanfront communities in Punta Mita, perfectly reflected the Porta Fortuna lifestyle: family fun on the beach with a twist of effortless tropical luxury.

Playa Fortuna has one of the best locations in Punta Mita features a chic pool and relaxation area and direct access to the calm waters of the Bahia de Banderas, the popular Punta Mita Pier and a short stroll along the sand to residents’ favorite, Sufi Restaurant are part of it.

Around 200 people attended the opening of Playa Fortuna Ocean Club, held on April 14, to enjoy food, fun, friends and family on the beach, under the warm Mexican sun. The party atmosphere was set with a fantastic playlist from DJ Omar Covarrubias and helped along with delicious beverages from sponsors Tequilas Gran Orendain and Ollitas, cold beer from El Terrible and Fortuna and fine wines by Viña de Baco.

Sufi Restaurant, which will be providing concession at Playa Fortuna Ocean Club with a Ceviche Bar featuring fresh-from-the-sea plates that pair perfectly with a day of sand, sea and surf, offered a delicious peak into their menu, serving guacamole and an assortment of octopus, fish and shrimp ceviches.

And, of course, no beach club launch party would be complete without Punta Mita Ocean Sports hosting some fun competitions and events, including a volleyball tournament. With treatments at Navi Spa up for grabs for the winners, the competition was friendly but fierce. Kids enjoyed ocean adventures on starships and dinghies ferried guests out to explore different fishing spots and surf breaks.
