The Cultural Center of Los Fridos is a project of Route 383 (Ruta 383).
Route 383 is a collective of artists and friends of culture looking to democratize art for the Bay of Banderas communities. Route 383 promotes popular and street art as a tool of enrichment and social change that must be accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
In this context the Los Fridos Cultural Center joins the project as a space where the artistic practice of children is more a fact than an idea, and becomes real and multiplied. A common house where the community is projected as an individual and as a collective, towards building a better society.
Los Fridos provides local children with a platform for training, creation and dissemination of artistic and cultural activities through a variety of activities including free art workshops, music classes, environmental awareness programs, and movie screenings with positive values. The children participate in weekly neighborhood clean-ups and work on adding colorful murals to beautify the city.
If you are a fan of music from Argentina, don't miss the special concert at The Jazz Foundation to benefit the Los Fridos Cultural Center on Monday, May 8 at 8:00 pm.
