The September Amigos de La Cruz Dinner Meeting will be held on a special day this month, Wednesday, to celebrate the opening of the NFL Football Season.
We will be meeting at Charlie's Place, #200 calle Camaron (corner of Pompano), La Cruz de Huanacaxtle, on Wednesday, September 5, at 7:00 pm.
The evening will kick off (pun intended) with quick & informal updates about the Amigos de La Cruz activities and projects followed by a great meal at a special price - only 150 pesos, beverages extra.
This month, in conjunction with the September Food Drive, 50 pesos from each ticket sold will go to the Action for Food (previously named Work for Food) project.
For those of you who haven't yet visited Charlie's Place, this is a great opportunity to find out why it is THE place for casual, friendly dining in La Cruz and a great spot to catch your favorite game.
The NFL Football Season Opener, NY Giants at Dallas Cowboys, will be shown for the football fans in attendance and Charlie will offer a choice of his regular, famous beef burgers or catch-of-the-day fish burgers, so please indicate your preference when you RSVP to lacruzamigos@gmail.com. Please RSVP sooner than later so we can give Melinda, Jim & Charlie a good idea of how many Amigos to expect and what to prepare.
Thanks to Charlie's for opening their restaurant on a normally closed day, so please remember to tip on the price of your combined bill (tickets + drinks).
