Enjoy a full day tour with gorgeous landscapes and a large diversity of tropical birds and fauna.

The 11 hour tour is presented in collaboration with Birding San Pancho. By joining the tour, you are supporting a local conservation area.
The day will begin at 6:00 am with a home made breakfast cooked with local ingredients + traditional and sustainable coffee from Capulin (does NOT include lunch, different options will be presented during the tour).
Your bilingual guide will take you through the Botanical Gardens and a visit to a community-based Military Macaw nesting area and conservation site.
Group size is a maximum of 8 and a minimum of 3. You will be provided the use of binoculars, spotting scope, reference books and a digital checklist via eBird.
Some of the possible bird sightings include Military Macaws, Lilac-crowned Parrots, Black-headed Siskins, Sparkling-tailed Hummingbirds, Magnificent Hummingbird, Painted Redstart, Yellow-breasted Chat, Green Jay, Black-throated Magpie Jay and San Blas Jays.
It is suggested that you wear Teva sandals or comfortable hiking shoes, long pants (preferred), light jacket, hat/cap, sunglasses, and bring insect repellent and sun-block.
Tour cost is 1900 pesos (or $100 US) per person. Ask about discounts for nationals, locals and neighbors. Overnight lodging is also available.
