Act II Entertainment Begins New Summer Series with 'Spotlight on Vallarta' Daniel R Mininni - Act II Entertainment

Act II, in its effort to provide top-quality, year-round entertainment to the Puerto Vallarta community, has created a brand-new summer series called “Spotlight on Vallarta!” This series will be presented in the Red Room and is designed to highlight the incredible talent of people that live full-time in Puerto Vallarta!

The first Spotlight show, “The Gabest Show on Earth,” will be starting on June 15. It features Gabe Arcineaga, a man that many will remember from his incredible singing performances last season in the Encore Room! Gabe is a relative newcomer to Puerto Vallarta, having moved here from Texas last October. In addition to his incomparable singing skills, Gabe is also a talented actor. In fact, he played the lead role of Richard Hannay in Act II’s production of 39 Steps this year. His professional background includes acting, singing and touring as a dancer with Charo, so Gabe has promised that his one-man show will be filled with music, stories, comedy and dancing, as well as a little bit of gossip from his days on the road! This show is a MUST-SEE!      

The second show on June 22 marks the inaugural performance of Act II’s newest sensation, Trinity, a musical group featuring the Voice of Vallarta winners from 2015, 2016 and 2017! Act II is proud and excited to be able to showcase the talents of Ana Letuka Adame, Eli Estrada, and Emperatriz Valles in their first cabaret show! The Voice of Vallarta was created originally to find and cultivate local talent, then to give them the opportunity to create a cabaret show and perform in the Red Room.  Trinity is the climax of that dream!  Each of these girls is an artist in her own right, but when they come together, they create magic! Show producer, Alfonso Lopez, says “I am so proud of how far each of these girls has come since they each won Voice of Vallarta. In this new show, they have created a natural synergy between them, one that will thrill the audience!” This show features solos, duets and trios, as well as dancing and drama. It is sure to be a winner!

Act II has lots of other projects planned for the summer, including Free Karaoke every Wednesday night, “Whose Line is It Anyway,” an audience-participation Improv comedy show, and cabaret shows featuring Emperatriz Valles, Diana Villamontes and Kami Desilets!

Join us every Wednesday evening for the most fun of the week! Drink specials run from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm with Karaoke starting at 8:00 pm. Our beautiful Encore Lounge is air-conditioned, and we feature the best Karaoke in town! It’s the place where all of your favorite singers from your favorite shows come to sing with the locals. It doesn’t matter if you are scared to get on the stage, or if you’re not a good singer, or if you just love to listen to others sing! It’s THE PLACE to meet and greet other people, and to get to know your fellow PV EXPATS. Come this Wednesday evening and join your hosts, Alfonso Lopez, Maria Rose and Marsha Ross!
 
Coming this summer…

Act II is excited to announce the return of Whose Line Is It Anyway?, an Improv show featuring the newly-formed acting troupe, PV PLAYERS! Also we will present a new Cabaret series called Spotlight on Vallarta, which features local talented artists that are looking for a stage to play on. Act II, along with Producer Alfonso Lopez, reports that the Spotlight on Vallarta series has two slots left for two new performers! So, are you interested in creating your own Cabaret show?
