The Public Relations Office of the Riviera Nayarit Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) kicked off the month of March engaged with continuing to promote the destination via these new avenues of information.

Several press trips took place the first few days of the month, hosting influencers, bloggers and YouTubers that brought with them hundreds of thousands of followers on their diverse digital platforms.

The first visit was from blogger Adbeel Yáñez from Viajero Peligro, who has over 393 followers on Facebook, over 32 thousand on Instagram and over 38 thousand visitors to his blog. His interactions are mainly with Spain, Argentina, Venezuela, the United States and Mexico.

During his stay he visited San Pancho, where he tried the five different types of aguachile, and toured Entre Amigos and the La Patrona Polo Club. Afterwards he went to La Cruz de Huanacaxtle to visit its beautiful marina, where he paddled out on to sea on a kayak. Then in Bucerías and Sayulita he explored the local gastronomy and fashion scene. He also spent some time in Punta de MIta and Islas Marietas, ending up in Lo de Marcos and, finally, Puerto Vallarta.

Another influencer who visited Mexico’s Pacific Treasure was Gabriel Ibarzabal, a writer at the head of the Latin Fashion News project, who has more than half a million followers on its different platforms.

Gabriel is more oriented towards the fashion, luxury and lifestyle scenes, which is why Punta de Mita, Islas Marietas and Higuera Blanca were his first stops. Afterwards he went to San Pancho to learn more about its organic products and, finally, he headed to Sayulita to get in a little surfing.

The journalist and YouTuber known as Mariel de Viaje visited the area on a press trip sponsored by the Iberostar Playa Mita Hotel so the CVB offered her a tour. Her account already has over 125 thousand followers on YouTube.
