For a little more than a decade, the 4-star Club Del Sol Hotel remains in abandonment on the main avenue of Puerto Vallarta, a couple of minutes from downtown.

Now with the new owners, this property is in a process of demolition, to later build a new space of tourist services.

On June 9 and 10, this building was a training place for the USAR Groups of Jalisco, which carried out a 7.0 magnitude earthquake simulation. The ruins of this hotel were the perfect setting for this type of search and rescue of alleged victims.

With the consent of the personnel responsible for the demolition and the necessary security measures, we made a tour to capture the state of abandonment and almost ghostly of what was once a hotel, minisuper and sports bar.
