Last Thursday Casa Cúpula representatives joined dozens of others from the LGBT community in Puerto Vallarta, in a meeting with Mayor Arturo Davalos.
The dialogue was to continue a conversation with the community about how to make Puerto Vallarta a better LGBT destination and what we would like the Mayor to address in our neighborhood.
Recently, Davalos marched in our Gay Pride parade with hundreds of police, firemen and city workers to show their support of our community.
The mayor spoke for a few minutes as did representatives of ACT-LGBT, the local LGBT business association of which Casa Cúpula is a member, and the Vallarta Pride committee.
Issues addressed included improvements to the area, garbage collection, safety and security.
The current administration appreciates the contribution of our community to the economic success of our town. LGBT tourists are respected and supported, most recently by the opening of an office for support for LGBT concerns.
We are pleased and proud that this Mayor has made working with our community as an important priority. We appreciate his continued support. It’s another reason PV should be your choice for your next vacation.
