You'll experience a relaxed early afternoon of cooking, chatting, learning about local cuisine and tasting delicious Mexican salsas. Try something new, healthy and authentic as we introduce you to eight different tasty local condiments.

Finish this fun workshop off by savoring your delicious creations, accompanied by other snacks and local drinks.

Did you know salsas are not only for eating chips? ...yes, salsas are for seasoning our food and are usually more important than the dish itself. And they do not have to be extra spicy! It is all about flavor. Do you wish that you could make your own?

Well you’re in luck! We do a specialized Salsa Workshop so you can learn how to make delicious salsas from scratch. When you return home you can show off to your friends at parties and events, or just make them anytime you’re craving them.

Meet us at the Spanish Experience Center, in the heart of downtown Vallarta (República de Chile 182), where everything will be set up and ready to go so you and other fellow guests can learn how to create these life changing condiments in a relaxed but exciting environment. Using all local ingredients, our specialist will walk you through step by step on the process of making different salsas and all the ways you can put your own special touch to them.

You will hear tips and stories, learn how to make other similar dishes and when everything is finished and you have achieved perfection, we will warm the tortillas, make quesadillas and feast on everything while enjoying local craft beer and/or a refreshing agua fresca.

And as a bonus, you´ll get to try the traditional "nopalitos" salad.

You pay what you want

The price listed ($19.99 US) is really a symbolic price to secure your spot and pay for this booking system, administration and space expenses, credit card fees and the cost of some of the food and drink. However, at the end of the workshop, as a gratuity, you pay what you want, if you want. If you are satisfied, you can contribute with the amount you feel your experience was worth.
