Artist Residencies are abundantly fun and exciting. Residencies provide a unique opportunity to meet and work alongside colleagues, learn new techniques and advance as an artist. ChacalArt is unique in the choices you'll have for your creativity in a small Mexican fishing village.

We are thrilled with the response we have had to the Convocation for the Artistic Residence of 2018.

It seems that there are many artists who could benefit from two weeks dedicated to their art and to make links with nature and with other artists. But there is still time to receive other requests.
 
"Am I qualified to apply to the ChacalArt Residency?"
 
• Are you a professional artist who is dedicated to their art form?     
• Do you have availability of time to be in Chacala, Nayarit for 2 weeks from January 22 to February 3, 2018? (Or minimum, the first or second week of the Residency).     
• Do you like to meet new places and make connections with other artists?

If you answer 'yes' to these three questions, we would love to receive your request. We have limited space for the Residence but our jury will consider all applications.

The deadline for Applications is September 15, 2017.
