Returning for its FOURTH Season, The Tianguis Lo de Marcos will reopen its doors on November 4th from 9:00 am and until 2:00 pm and you are invited to stop by and check it out.
The Tianguis Lo de Marcos is set in a lovely courtyard that provides a comfortable outdoor shopping and socializing experience.
Starting in November, you will be able to buy such items as Home Made Baked Goods, Custom Made Piñatas, Hand Blown Glass, Clothing, Unique Artisan items, Garden Fresh Produce, Freshly Baked Delicacies, Salsas, Jewelry and more, all in Lo De Marcos, located in beautiful Riviera Nayarit.
¨This Season we will see the addition of more Live Music Performances and we are hoping to add a little more International Flair this year to the Food Court.” said Armando Contreras, the Event´s Organizer. Additionally we plan to bring in visiting Artisans from other parts of Mexico, which will be a great treat, he stated.
The Tianguis is more than shopping; it is a total community experience. Friends gather in the Food Court and catch up in the aisles. Each week brings new visitors and new vendors so there is always someone or something new to see!
The tradition of buying and selling in temporary markets set up either on a regular basis is a strong feature in much of Mexican culture and has a history that extends far back into the pre-Hispanic period.

The Tianguis was created and brought to town by Armando Contreras of Galvan Real Estate and Services, the town´s Full Service Real Estate and Rental Agency. The Tianguis brings great energy to the town of Lo De Marcos and is a great way to support our residents, visitors, farmers and craftspeople.
Held each Saturday, November 4th to March 31st from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm, this weekly event expects to continue its growth and history of drawing visitors from around the Banderas Bay.
